How to use this when an adjuster denies a calibration line

  1. Pull the OEM position statement first. Before you even pick up the phone with the carrier, find the exact statement that says "this calibration is required when X is done."
  2. Cite it in writing. Insurance adjusters back off when you respond with a manufacturer page number, not a phone opinion. Attach the PDF or URL to your supplement.
  3. Save scan reports. Pre and post. Date-stamped. They are part of your paper trail.
  4. Line-item every step. Pre-scan. Calibration (with OEM citation). Post-scan. Never bundle into "labor included."
  5. Log the denial in writing. Note carrier name, adjuster, claim number, date. Patterns help you anticipate the next denial.
