Lucid and BMW both announced hands-free driving rollouts via OTA update this week. Meanwhile, Rep. Harshbarger is co-chairing a push to pass the ADAS Functionality and Integrity Act. The timing matters: shops are seeing more denials because OEM requirements are moving faster than industry calibration benchmarks. Carriers want proof of OEM-cited compliance. Most shops are still guessing.
